We are searching for top talent to join our Stewardship team! The
Assistant Director of Stewardship is an integral member of the
Stewardship team and plays a key role in creative relationship
management of major gift donors. They are responsible for
developing and executing the stewardship strategy for major gift
donors through concierge level engagement. The Assistant Director
collaborates with fundraisers to support personalized cultivation
strategies. Builds bridges between campus and the Foundation to
capture and communicate the impact of named funds. They find
connections to expand the scale of one-to-one stewardship that
supports cultivation across the major gift spectrum.
A day in the life of an Assistant Director of Stewardship could
be:
- Lead strategy for donor impact reporting that demonstrates
philanthropic impact and inspires giving.
- Collaborate with frontline fundraisers to cultivate
relationships with donors.
- Build relationships with internal and external partners to
collect impact content and organize it effectively.
- Work proactively to establish and execute intentional
stewardship and engagement expectations with campus partners for
donor created funds.
- Develop close working relationships with KSU Foundation
colleagues in marketing and communications, IT services, data
science and market research to further develop efficiencies and
strategies to cultivate donors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of professional work experience in a position managing
multiple projects and/or executing creative strategy
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; proven
excellence in verbal and written skills
- Pays close attention to and ensures the highest level of
accuracy, quality, timing and other details in all aspects of
work
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and a self-starter able to work in a
fast-paced environment
- Uses discretion, displays mature judgment and diplomacy
- Work is primarily sedentary. Must be able to sit for long
periods of time. May require occasional physical exertion such as
long periods of sitting or standing; recurring bending, crouching,
stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities.
- A valid motor vehicle operator's license with an acceptable
driving record
