Overview Position: RN/Registered Nurse --- Radiology - FT - Days
Schedule: Flexiable Days Location: University Kansas Health System
--- St. Francis (Main Campus) $2500 Sign On Bonus The Radiological
nurse performs a comprehensive assessment of patient and family
needs to deliver and coordinate Radiology nursing services
throughout the continuum of care. The Registered Nurse delivers
nursing care as defined by the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and the
policies and procedures of SFHC. The Registered Nurse reports to

Responsibilities Registered Nurse Radiology duties include:
Responsible for the creative application of the nursing process
(assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation) in
the delivery of patient care in Radiology. Clearly communicates,
both orally and in writing, to foster staff and patient
understanding of treatment plan. Sensitive to the patient's needs
such as physical, spiritual, and emotional and evaluates response
to the delivery of care. Supports and promotes organizational
programs to ensure quality patient care. Maintains an up-to-date
knowledge of Radio logic Technology to ensure effective and
efficient patient care. Provides quality customer service to
patients, families, coworkers, and other members of the
interdisciplinary health care team to create a professional and
respectful environment. Accountable for self and self-actions:
Engages in self-evaluation of practice and takes action to improve
knowledge and skills. Promotes consensus building and applies
techniques of conflict resolution and conduct improvement. Retains
accountability for quality of care given to the patient. What We

Retirement Plan PTO Qualifications Requirements: A graduate of an
accredited nursing school. Must maintain a current certification in
BLS. Demonstrated leadership abilities; able to work under
stressful situations. Possesses good oral and written communication
skills. A demonstrated ability in interpersonal relationships which
enhances communication, promotes conflict resolutions, and
facilitates staff development. Desirable characteristics include at
least one year of experience as an R.N., preferably in the area of
application. Must be able to follow directions and perform work
according to department standards when no directions are given.
Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under
stress. Must possess a current Kansas License as a Registered
Nurse. Basic computer skills. Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word,
Outlook, Excel) and EPIC software; preferred
