community. Responsibilities This position involves the coordination
of clinical management of the structural heart patient across the
entire continuum of care. Manages and coordinates the structural
heart clinic and assures thorough patient evaluation and education
for structural heart procedures. Serves as a leader for the
hospital structural heart program and drives performance and
improvement initiatives. Acts as a clinical resource and a role
model for all areas caring for structural heart patients. Provides
and/or coordinates educational activities for all staff and
patients, including onboarding and annual maintenance of staff
skills and competencies. Acts as a community liaison on behalf of
the structural heart program and the hospital to promote awareness
and education on structural heart procedures. Collaborates in the
development and delivery of care for the University of Kansas
Health System St. Francis Campus Market Qualifications Current
Kansas RN licensure, Associates/Bacherlors degree from an
accredited nursing school, BLS certification, and 3 years of
clinical nursing experience, preferably in Cardiology, Critical
Care, Cardiac Surgery or Emergency Department required.
