We Are Hiring: RN - Registered Nurse Interventional Cath Lab -Full time - Rotating shiftAscension Via Christi - Manhattan, Kansas -The Cardiac Cath Lab is a procedural unit for both inpatients and outpatients where our Cardiologists and Radiologists perform multiple different procedures including diagnostic Rt and Lt heart caths, PCIs, TEEs, Cardioversions, Pacemaker and ICD implantation, Dialysis Cath insertions, and loop recorders to name a few. We utilize a 3 person team including an RN circulating nurse, a Rad tech scrubbing and either a tech or nurse monitoring the patient. We have 2 Cath labs with all the diagnostic imaging equipment needed to give our patients excellent care and be able to treat as needed. Staff currently work Monday-Friday 7:30 am till 4:00 pm with the occasional need to stay after to finish procedures. No call or weekends. Orientation is individualized and is worked out between the new nurse and precepting nurse and is completed when both nurses feel orientation is finished. -Now more than ever, our Ascension care teams are all united by a common goal: to provide compassionate, personalized care for all - especially now, when our communities need us most. • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:
    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
