heartbeat matters—and as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you’ll be
part of the team that protects them. In this role, you’ll stand
alongside physicians and colleagues to deliver advanced care during
lifesaving cardiac procedures. With access to state-of-the-art cath

patients and families through their journey to ensuring precision
in every step of treatment, you’ll bring both skill and compassion
to moments that improve more lives in more ways. Your
responsibilities will include: Assisting physicians with complex
cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms,
angioplasties, and stent placements Preparing and supporting
patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before,
during, and after procedures Operating and maintaining advanced
equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment Monitoring
patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the
highest level of care Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment
while serving as an advocate for every patient What qualifications
you will need: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologi st
program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred .
Two years of experience in a cardiac-related field may be
substituted for completion of Radiology Technologist program or i
nvasive cardiovascular technologist (CVT) program completion.
Current B LS Certification from American Heart Association or
American Red Cross required upon hire . ACLS Certification from
American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 6
months of hire . RCIS licensure (from CCI) OR ARRT preferred One
year of experience in Cath lab, or equivalent clinical experience
as part of educational program . OJT with current two year s or
more of experience may be substituted for completion of Radiology
Technologist program, Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program
and RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist). Knowledge
of cardiac anatomy & physiology preferred. Able to complete at six
months a hemodynamic test and arrhythmia recognition test
preferred. Research Medical Center is a 585 bed hospital. Our
hospital offers an array of medical and health clinic services.
This includes women's services offering obstetrics and fertility,
an emergency room, and a trauma center. We offer a Stroke Center, a
walk-in clinic, and orthopedics across three Kansas City locations.
Our specialty care areas include a Chest Pain Center, Level I
Trauma Center, Breast Care Center, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation
