Job Description:
Encompass Health Kansas Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated
Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you
will work alongside experienced occupational therapists to provide
customized rehabilitation therapies to our patients. You will
assist in the development and implementation of rehabilitation
programs and help patients improve their ability to perform tasks
in their daily living and working environments. Our facility is
committed to helping patients achieve their highest level of
independence through personalized and compassionate care. Assist
occupational therapists in evaluating patients' needs and
condition. Help implement and administer therapy plans to increase
patient functionality and independence. Record patient's progress
and adapt treatments as needed. Instruct patients on how to use
special equipment to assist with daily activities. Support the
patient and family education process to enhance recovery. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow detailed
instructions. Proficient in using rehabilitation equipment and
techniques. Strong observational and analytical skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license as required by state
law.
