Pharmacist Location: Salina, KS Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $45 to $55 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Permanent (Full Time) Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000 (will be discussed further during interview) Pay Rate: $112,500 – $153,000/yearly. Summary: An Inpatient Pharmacist is responsible for preparing, dispensing, and monitoring medications for hospitalized patients. The role ensures safe, effective, and timely pharmacotherapy while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. Responsibilities: Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions. Dispense medications, including intravenous, oral, and other formulations, as per physician orders. Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust therapy recommendations in collaboration with the medical team. Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff, patients, and families. Participate in clinical rounds and medication review committees. Requirements Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program Required. Current Kansas Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure Highly Preferred. Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred BLS Certification.
