Job Description:
Overview
To support the retail sales team objectives and day to day
activities with a highly professional service encompassing floor
operations and team supervision, stock and display management, and
support a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Operations/Floor Management
- Open and close the store(s) per standardized procedure
- Handle money with Point-of-Sale system (NCR CounterPoint)
including checkout, returns, exchanges and accounts receivable
transactions.
- Keep an awareness for security issues and safety of
personnel
- Ensure banking is up to date and all cash requirements are met
in Manager's absence
- Demonstrate efficient customer service, sales and/or operations
activities as required to ensure service standards are always met
and sales opportunities maximizedTeam Supervision
- Support induction training, day to day training and supervision
of all team members
- Monitor and motivate the Retail Sales Associates and Team
Leads, working to agreed targets set to:
- Maximize customer engagement and experience
- Increase sales conversion rates
- Maintain employee satisfaction
- Conduct team huddles for new products and promotions training
as necessary
- Attend internal meetings such as weekly huddle and report back
to the Retail teamStock and Display Management
- Assist in back office operations, including receiving stock,
delivering stock to stadium locations and occasionally shipping web
orders
- Ensure that retail floor and stock spaces are maintained in a
professional manner
- Continually monitor visual merchandise displays, replacing and
improving as required
- Develop excellent product knowledge and awareness of changes in
the industry that could impact sales
- Initiate and execute cycle counts to maintain accurate
inventory reporting levels Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- High School diploma required.
- At least 2 years of related experience, or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, communication, and
organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision, highly
self-motivated, and can motivate others.
- Resourceful and well organized, works well under pressure, able
to multi-task.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.To qualify, applicants must
