Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the
manufactured consumer packaged goods industry, is seeking a Sr.
Engineering Manager to join their team. As a Sr. Engineering
Manager, you will be part of the Plant Operations supporting the
manufacturing and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a
proactive approach, which will align successfully within the
organization. Job Title: Sr. Engineering Manager Location: Kansas
What's the Job? Lead the Plant Engineering and Maintenance
functions to ensure equipment, facilities, and systems operate
safely and efficiently. Implement continuous improvement
initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
Manage and develop a high-performing maintenance team to deliver
timely, quality results. Oversee project management, including
capital budgets and project execution, ensuring alignment with
financial goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
optimize production line availability and support food safety and
quality standards. What's Needed? B.S. degree in Engineering,
Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years
of experience in a manufacturing environment, with plant leadership
experience. Proven project management skills and experience in a
manufacturing setting, preferably in CPG or food manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of equipment reliability, asset care strategies,
and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent organizational,
communication, and leadership skills with a focus on safety and
