We Are Hiring: Via Christi Village Manhattan, part of Ascension Living, is looking for caring and compassionate Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join the team! This gorgeous continuing care retirement community offers independent living, assisted living, long-term skilled nursing, rehabilitation and therapy.
Schedule
PRN, help covering some weekend shifts 6-2p and 2-10p and we also need coverage two nights a week 10-6a. Potential for PT hours, Assisted Living

• Tuition reimbursement, discount programs and more! What You Will Do: Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN) and maintains related medical records.
  • Present medication to patient and observes ingestion or administers medication using specified procedures.
  • Take vital signs or observes patient to detect response to medication, and reports reactions.
  • Restock medication inventories.
  • May provide direct patient care. Assures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • Medication Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:
