Responsibilities:

Understand all contracts, commitments, and lender and escrow instructions to assure completion for a timely escrow close
Oversee proper accounting procedures are used when depositing and removing earnest money funds and final disbursement from the escrow account
Assume other pre-closing and post-closing tasks as directed
Communicate with title insurance representatives, insurance company representatives, loan officer, escrow processors and team members, title company, real estate agents, and clients to assist escrow officer in the closing process
Perform administrative and clerical duties for escrow officer to complete escrow transactions and necessary follow-up requests
--- Assist escrow officers with closing documents such as deed packets, settlement statements, escrow files, and closing statements

Qualifications:

Must have previous clerical, secretarial, and administrative support experience
Some college preferred -- high school diploma or GED required
Strong experience with Microsoft office required, escrow software experience preferred
Exceptional problem solving, customer service, time management, and communications skills
2-3 years of residential or commercial escrow assistant experience
