About This Role:





The Office of Recruitment and Admissions (ORA) is hiring for a Transfer Articulation Specialist. This role is part of a transfer course articulation team that works to coordinate review of transfer courses and prior learning credit for incoming and current students. The position will work with academic units and enrollment management systems to determine transfer and prior learning credit for K-State students. Specific responsibilities include: Transfer credit evaluation and transfer articulation encoding, Admissions operations transcript processing, military and other prior learning credit articulations, maintenance of Transfer Pathways and 2+2 agreements.

What You'll Need to Succeed:





Minimum Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma

  • One year of relevant experience



    Preferred Qualifications:



    • Two years of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work

    • Some college or Bachelor's Degree preferred

    • Experience with detailed office work including data entry, record keeping, and reporting functions

    • Experience with systems of higher education including enrollment management records keeping

    • Familiarity with transfer credit assessment processes and/or prior learning credit assessment

    • Ability to extract and analyze detailed information from multiple sources and relate it to specific situations

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to analyze and implement policies and procedures

    • Experience with student information system (PeopleSoft), college source products including uAchieve, Imaging (Hyland Perceptive Content), CRM (Saleforce/Target X), Microsoft Office Suite, modern office procedures, practices and equipment

    • Strong organizational skills
